Very nice image! Excellent post production work!
Retouching has always been a huge part of photography richt from the start when Henry Fox Talbot was making "Salt" prints around the turn of the century. If you ever went to an Ansel Adams workshop you would know that most of his time in the darkroom was spent creating masks and retouching negatives with oencil lead to create the image he wanted. The so-caled "Hollywood" look of the twety's to fifties was created as much or more through alteration to the original image as it was in camera.
And today, there isn't a printed photograph that we know of that hasn't undergone some form of modification after capture.
Your work on this image is, from our point of view, a superb example of what is possible today.
