Sorry we missed the meeting too. Scheduling them on a regular basis would be very helpful in terms of arranging schedules so that people could make it on a regular basis.
Our thought is to by all means proceed with the idea. But, we would recommend going slow on property purchases or leases etc.
The essentials for a studio are power and space.
We would suggest renting a space for the monthly shoots for a while and see how things go.
We will do whatever we can to support the idea, and we're happy to work on projects that will make the idea a reality. Just let us know what we can do.
We break ground on Tuesday morning for our new studio. It will be a building 30 X 32 feet with 11ft ceilings. Bathroom, etc., and two offices in a room we are adding on to our home. Cost will be about $50,000. So, things can add up fairly quickly.
Sounds like the first goal is to have regular get-to-gethers and share some shooting time. Probably a good thing to focus on those two items first.
