Can you clarify this for us: "Theta's more strict posting rules I don't think I will be posting anymore." which rules make you think stop posting here? All I do see in the forum policies are mainly no XXX or porn site, no personal attack or images posted that contain nudity MUST be in good taste (the rest of the policies are pretty much what Rick has in his)
If you are leaving the forum just simply because you find people are not willing to share with you, then I think you might have some thinking to do and figure why that happens.
Some of us do share our photography skills and resources (such as the Shootout event in Eugene, EMA event, the Seattle photographers get together couple months ago) with selective few... why is that? Because those people are willing to learn and keep open mind about other people suggestions, looking for improvement (with progress that we can see). Since you brought the point that you find people poking fun of you. When some of us made suggestions to your photo, your normal reaction is come up with some non-sense excuse, try to explain why you did it when apparently and obviously what you did was not working.
With that type of reaction from you, I personally (I am sure there are some others too) do not find it worth or wants to share what I know with you after few attempt to tell you things.
Like it or not, these are my thought toward to this issue.
PS: When you said: “I don't think I will be posting anymore.” Does it mean you are going to stop lurking around too? If you don’t lurking around, that’s fine. But if you do lurk around (again, you only said, “I don't think I will be posting anymore.”) I hope you will pickup few things from this forum to improve yourself as a shooter.
When I heard about this forum is coming back, from my past experience with any THETA forums, I already know this will be a completely different playground then Rick’s forum.
