There's no question about it, the best of all possible figurative art critiques are available right here. Just ask! I've been relatively active on various model/photography forums for many years, well, since there were only two of them. Since this board opened a few days ago, I've been absolutely blown away by the skill level and the quality of artistic work shown here. A few other artistic forums came along over the yers and a coule are still around, but have devolved into just more spam ad forums, probably because of coomplete lack of interest on the part of the admins. But here, you have a couple of highly experienced admins and David, the owner, have all been around about as long as I have. The knowledge level of the participants is unsurpassed! From knowing several of these guys for a long time, I can tell you they are not BS artists; instead many have had work exhibited in real world exhibitions and know what they are talking about.
You havent really seen much in the way of critiques here (so far), but no one has asked! BTW, I'm pretty sure many if not most here don't have any idea what was on the last several Maxim covers, I know I have absolutely no idea! But they (we) know what makes a good portfolio and they know what a good image is.
Artistic sensitivity? Just ask, but keep in mind the answers may not be sugar coated and you may or may not like the responses, but they'll be helpful.
