Thanks for posting, Stu. I've been a big fan of this kind of shot for a long time. I like the attitude and, as David says, the use of shadows. What I would have liked is if the hottest point in the photo had been someplace other than her hip.

The battle I always fight with things like that is that I don't usually mind the odd highlight in an unexpected place, but I know it can sometimes interfere with some people's reading of a photo.

As for the forum, I'm hoping there will be disagreements, alternative ways of looking at things and lots of back-and-forth about how best to capture a vision.

Whenever that gets personal, though, the posts won't last very long.
